Staff Correspondent :: A week-long free plastic surgery of smile train organised by Fouad Al-Khateeb Hospital, Cox's Bazar with the financial assistant of non-government organisation `Shohai Bangladesh' has began at Fouad Al-Khateeb Hospital from this morning. In this connection a views exchange meting with local journalists was held today morning at Hospital conference room. Dr. Md. Rahim Ullha, managing director, Fouad Al-Khateeb Hospital, Cox's Bazar was in the chair while International renowned smile train specialist Dr. Brian Clive Summerland, consultant of plastic surgeon, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and member of smile train advisory board, London was present in the function as chief guest.
Professor Dr. A J M Salek, consultant Plastic Surgeon and project director, Smile Train, Shohai Bangladesh CL, project, Dhaka, Dr. Mozammel Hossain Khan, executive director, Shohai Bangladesh, Dhaka, Dr. Md. Saha Alam, director, Marketing and Business Promotion, Fouad Al-Khateeb Hospital, Cox's Bazar and Dr. Aminur Islam, Senior administrative officer, Fouad Al-Khateeb Hospital, Cox's bazar were delivered their speech as special guest in the function among others.
A total of 120 patients including most of the children will be getting free plastic surgery services in the camp.
Meanwhile, a total of three hundred smile train patients have already been get treatment and plastic surgery from Shohai Bangladesh at Cox's Bazar during the three years.
Camp will be closed on July 26th next.
