Staff Correspondent :: One tiny-tot was drowned in a pond at pekoua upazila of the district on July 20 last. Died tiny-ton was identified as Sagir Mia, 4, son of Rabiul Alam, west Bhaimma Khali village under pekoua upazila of Cox's Bazar district.
According to the pekoua police and witness sources said that, Sagar Mia and his friends were playing at Nurul Alam,s house primes on July 20 last at about 4 pm. At one stage he was drowned in the pond of Nurul Alam. Later, his friends were charging but they can trace.
Later, his dead body was floating on the pond then his friends were shouting and crying. Family members of Sagar and others villagers were rushed to spot and recovered the body. He was immediate send to pekoua upazila hospital but duty doctors were declared he was died.
