Women Ansar working for anti smuggling PDF Print E-mail

Staff Correspondent :: Members of women Ansars are were operating their work with Bangladesh Border Guard-BDR for anti smuggling at Teknaf, a bordering upazila of Cox's Bazar district from this morning. 15th members women Ansar team is working at Teknaf Land Port, Bangladesh-Myanmar Transit Ghat and Damdomiha check point of Cox's Bazar-Teknaf highway. Members of Women Ansar are working with BDR jawans for stopping women smugglers.
According to the sources said that, some women of the district are doing smuggling and vice versa used as carriers of smuggling from long time But BDR jawans and Police can not check and charge their body. So, women smugglers are avoiding laws. The Government are decided, women Ansar members are works with BDR jawans for anti-smuggling.
A briefing meeting of women Ansar members was held at Teknaf upazila Ansar & VDP office on July 12 last in this connection. Abdur Rahman, acting, upazila Ansar and VDP officer was in the chair while Asis Kumar Benarjey, deputy director, Ansar and VDP, Cox's Bazar was present in the function as chief guest.       
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammazeal Hossain, commanding officer, 42 rifle battalion, teknaf told this correspondent that, members of women Ansar must be play vital rule for anti smuggling program. They will be taken responsibility for women smugglers.
