According to the bsinessmen and traders sources said that, a total of 20 shops at Shaplapour bazar under island upazila Moheskhali of the district by devastating fire this early morning at about 5 am. Sources said, fire was originated from a battery shop by electric short circuit at about 5 am this early morning. Fires were engulfing at least 20 shops and gutted. Traders, workers and local people are rushed to spot and trying to control the fire. Later, fire was control by local people and traders after one hour trying.
